The teak frame is weather resistant and can stay outside all year round. We recommend maintaining the teak at least once or twice a year: clean with a teak cleaner, optionally apply teak protector to preserve the warm colour, and always finish with teak shield. Using a protective cover over the sofa will also help keep the wood cleaner for longer and better protected against dirt and build up.
The cushions are upholstered in Sunbrella fabric, which is water and dirt repellent. We recommend using a protective cover during rain and storing the cushions indoors in autumn and winter. Prefer to leave them outside all year? Then we advise a special all weather cover that can be fitted on the inside. This makes the cushion filling waterproof.
